WordPress Sports API Integration

I need a developer to integrate data via a custom API into a WordPress page to create a football player profile section on my sports platform.

Requirements:
- Use a shortcode to dynamically add and display different player profiles.
- Each profile should include:
- Statistics
- Biography
- Recent matches

The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong experience with WordPress development
- Expertise in API integration, especially with custom APIs
