My WooCommerce store is up, www.coolcandleco.com.au orders flow daily, yet two areas still hold us back and I need someone who already knows the fixes—not someone learning on my clock.
First, freight calculations. We rely on the built-in WooCommerce Shipping module, but I must expand the options it returns so buyers can choose the service that truly suits them using our Freight provider API's (LTL, expedited, economy, etc.). Rates need to pull through instantly and display cleanly at checkout without confusing add-ons or hidden fees.
Second, customer segmentation. The site will serve three distinct buyer levels—retail, wholesale, and reseller—with tiered pricing and catalog visibility rules for each. Accounts must be auto-assigned to the correct tier after approval, and every tier must see the right products, minimums, and shipping rules the moment they log in.
Acceptance criteria
• Checkout displays multiple, accurate freight services drawn from live carriers and works seamlessly with coupons, taxes, and any future shipping zones we introduce.
• Retail, wholesale, and reseller customers see only their permitted prices and products across shop, cart, and checkout, with no cross-leak of data.
• All changes run smoothly on the current theme and plugins, pass staging tests, and move to production with zero downtime.
