HIRING: WhatsApp Template Compliance & Unblocking Specialist


RESPONSIBILITIES

Phase 1: Diagnosis & Audit
- Analyze flagged templates and identify specific policy violations
- Review WhatsApp Business API policies and restrictions
- Audit account status and suspension history
- Document findings with violation categories and root causes

Phase 2: Template Redesign
- Rewrite legal notice templates to meet WhatsApp standards while maintaining legal compliance
- Develop multi-message sequences instead of bulk templates
- Create template versioning document
- Build messaging strategy

Phase 3: Submission & Recovery
- Resubmit templates via WhatsApp Business Manager
- File appeals for rejected templates
- Monitor approval timelines
- Establish fallback templates

Phase 4: Compliance Framework
- Create template governance checklist
- Track policy updates
- Train Osettl team on compliant practices
- Establish monitoring dashboard

REQUIRED SKILLS

Must-Have:
- Hands-on WhatsApp Business API experience
- Diagnosed and resolved flagged templates in production
- API integrations and webhook management
- Customer communication strategy (transactional, legal, regulatory)
- Documentation and process design

Nice-to-Have:
- Legal/fintech messaging experience
- Knowledge of Indian regulatory frameworks (DPDP Act 2023)
- Twilio, Nexmo, or similar platform experience
- WhatsApp support escalation management
