WhatsApp Chat Notification Integration
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I want my existing application to initiate and deliver chat-based notifications through WhatsApp. The core requirement is simple: when my system triggers an event, a WhatsApp message must reach the user instantly, formatted exactly as I define, without manual intervention.
To achieve this, you’ll connect the app to the WhatsApp Business API (or a reliable gateway such as Twilio or Meta Cloud) and handle everything needed for a smooth, compliant rollout—authentication, message template setup, webhook handling, and opt-in logic. I’ll provide the current app’s endpoints; you give back clean, well-documented code plus a short setup guide so I can replicate the integration in staging and production.
For acceptance, I will run a quick test: calling one of my endpoints must fire a WhatsApp chat notification to a sandbox number and then to a live, opt-in user. If the delivery report shows “sent” within seconds and the message body matches the template, the job is done. Future-proofing is a bonus; a modular approach that could later extend to Facebook or Instagram would be ideal.
