Travel Technology API Integration (Flights + Hotels) into WordPress WooCommerce

We are a licensed UK & Icelandic travel company (ATOL, ABTOT, Icelandic Tourism Board certified) operating www.tourismiceland.co.uk (WordPress + WooCommerce).

We are seeking an experienced travel technology developer to integrate flights and hotels APIs into our website. The focus is on low-fare airlines operating to/from Iceland, plus a wide range of hotels.

Scope of Work
1. API Acquisition & Setup
• Help acquire access to reliable travel APIs (e.g., Travelfusion, Amadeus, Sabre, Hotelbeds, Ratehawk, etc.).
• Configure sandbox + production environments.
2. Integration into WordPress WooCommerce
• Flight search (with filters for Iceland routes, pax, dates).
• Hotel search with availability, rates, and images.
• Package booking flow (flight + hotel).
3. Pre-Cart Add-Ons
• Add our extras before checkout (e.g., tours, transfers, insurance, baggage).
• One-click upsells with real-time recalculation.
4. Payments & Compliance
• Stripe/WooCommerce Payments integration.
• PCI/DSS and GDPR-compliant flow.

Mandatory Requirements
• Proven travel tech/travel API integration experience (flights + hotels).
• Must provide references, portfolio, or live examples of past travel API projects.
• Strong WordPress + WooCommerce development skills.
• Do not apply if you only have general WordPress experience.

Deliverables
• Fully functional travel API integration on our existing WordPress site.
• Working search, results, booking, and pre-cart upsells.
• Documentation + short training handover.
