Studio AI Developer for E-Commerce Pharmacy
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
We are looking for an experienced developer who specializes in Studio AI to finalize, troubleshoot, and launch ThriftyMedsNow (thriftymeds.com), an innovative Canadian e-commerce pharmacy platform.
The application features an authenticated order portal and a comprehensive medication catalog, and it is being built entirely within the Studio AI ecosystem. We need an expert to ensure the frontend and backend are communicating flawlessly, finalize critical third-party integrations (shipping, location, and authentication), and guarantee the entire system operates smoothly while adhering to healthcare data compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Studio AI Development & Optimization: Audit the current Studio AI build, fix any routing or "failed to fetch" errors, and ensure the application is fully optimized for production deployment.
API & Service Integration: Finalize, test, and troubleshoot critical third-party API integrations, including:
Canada Post API / Geoapify (for address autocomplete and shipping validation).
Google Maps API (for location services).
Firebase Authentication (configuring custom Google login branding for thriftymedsnow).
Data Management & Imports: Ensure smooth handling of our large, structured CSV datasets (medication catalogs, pricing, DINs, and storage requirements) within the app's database architecture.
Quality Assurance & User Testing: Conduct end-to-end testing of the authenticated order portal to ensure seamless user flows from account creation to final checkout.
Security & Compliance: Ensure all data handling and user authentication workflows comply with healthcare data privacy standards (HIPAA and Canadian PIPEDA).
Technical Requirements:
Platform Expertise: Proven track record building, troubleshooting, and launching production-ready applications specifically using Studio AI.
Integrations: Deep experience implementing REST APIs, webhooks, mapping services (Google Maps), and address verification tools (Canada Post, etc.).
Security: Strong familiarity with Firebase Authentication and managing secure login states.
Data Handling: Experience processing and importing complex CSV data files into application databases.
Bonus Points:
Previous experience working on e-commerce, healthcare, or pharmacy-related platforms.
Strong UI/UX sensibilities to ensure the Studio AI frontend is polished and highly responsive.
Project Scope & Deliverables:
A fully functional, bug-free production launch of the platform on Studio AI.
Seamless operation of user authentication and address validation workflows.
A brief handover document detailing how the integrations and data imports are structured within the app.
