Small YouTube Analytics App
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
Hello!
I need an app that does the following:
- The user can connect their YouTube channel to the app.
- The app retrieves data about certain videos and,
- Gives reports about viewership patterns (aggregate/overall across all users for us; as well as individual stats for each individual user).
Specific use case details:
I am a consultant who serves churches. I want to find out how church servie viewership drops off over time after a church streams a service on YouTube. My assumption is that the vast majority of the views will happen when the video is initially streamed, and then fall off drastically after that. However, I want data to back that up.
My hope is that I can get churches to use our app to connect to their YouTube channel to collect these statistics, so we can then develop a report on this for them and show them the potential value of our services.
As such, I need a couple filters applied so we don't get data on all of the videos on the church's channel.
We will identify two types of videos:
- Live-streamed Sunday services (video was streamed live on a Sunday in their local time AND is greater than 60 minutes long)
- Sunday services that were posted after the fact (videos that were not live streamed but uploaded Sunday, Monday or Tuesday AND are greater than 60 minutes long)
As for the UX:
User:
- Sign up page: User signs up (could be sign up using their Google account)
- Grants permission to the app
- A report (chart) that shows their average viewership over time following streaming/publishing.
Administrator (My view):
- Chart(s) showing average viewership over time following streaming/publishing video across all churches.
