Shopify Developer Needed – Custom Apparel Designer with API Integration
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am starting a custom t-shirt and apparel printing company and my Shopify website is approximately 90% complete. Unfortunately, my current developer has not been able to finish the final and most important piece of the project.
I am looking for an experienced Shopify developer who has worked with custom product designers, API integrations, and apparel customization tools.
Project Overview
I already have an apparel supplier API connected to my Shopify store. I need a custom page built that allows customers to:
1. Browse apparel products pulled directly from my API.
2. Select a product (t-shirt, hoodie, sweatshirt, etc.).
3. Choose color and size options.
4. Upload their own artwork/design.
5. Automatically remove image backgrounds when needed.
6. Position, resize, and rotate their design on the garment preview.
7. Add custom text to the apparel.
8. Choose fonts, colors, and text placement.
9. See a live mockup/preview before purchasing.
10. Add the customized product directly to the cart.
Requirements
* Shopify experience is required.
* Experience with custom apparel designers (Inkybay, Customily, Antigro, or similar) is a plus.
* Strong API integration experience.
* Ability to build a clean, mobile-friendly user experience.
* Knowledge of image processing/background removal.
* Ability to create accurate product mockups and print placement previews.
Current Status
* Shopify website is already built.
* Supplier API is already connected.
* Product data is available.
* The main task is creating the custom apparel design page and connecting it to the existing setup.
