Redesign of BINS APP Web Platform to mirror app plus bins app api integration
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Project Details
$250.00 – 750.00 USD
Project Overview
We are building BINS APP, a fast-growing, nationwide dumpster rental marketplace—an on-demand platform connecting customers, contractors, and businesses with local dumpster operators.
We are seeking a highly experienced full-stack JavaScript developer or development team to redesign our website and fully integrate it with our existing mobile app backend and APIs.
This is not a basic website project. This is a full platform build-out that must match the functionality, performance, and user experience of our mobile application while introducing a robust desktop-based dispatch and management system.
Our current platform can be reviewed at:
www.binsapp.ai
Scope of Work
1. Website Redesign (UI/UX)
Modern, clean, technology-focused design comparable to leading platforms such as Uber, DoorDash, and Airbnb
Mobile-first design with full desktop optimization
Fast load speeds and smooth, responsive interactions
Strong brand alignment (BINS APP color scheme and identity)
Conversion-focused layout with clear calls to action and streamlined booking flow
2. Full Platform Integration (Critical Requirement)
Integrate existing BINS APP APIs into the website
Ensure full synchronization between mobile app and website
Replicate core app functionality on web, including:
Dumpster booking and checkout
Location-based search (address/GPS)
Pricing display and dumpster selection
Scheduling (delivery and pickup)
Add-ons (insurance, protection plans)
User authentication (login/register)
Order tracking and status updates
The goal is a single unified platform with real-time data across all devices.
3. Dispatch System (Desktop Command Center)
Develop a web-based operations dashboard for internal use and vendors, including:
Live job tracking with map integration
Driver assignment and job routing
Multi-user access (owners, dispatchers, drivers)
Order lifecycle management (active, completed, canceled)
Real-time updates and notifications
Optional messaging or communication system
4. Vendor / Operator Portal
Dumpster owner onboarding and account setup
Ability to list and manage dumpsters
Set pricing and availability
Accept or decline jobs
Track earnings and performance
Support for multiple drivers and devices
5. Payment Integration
Stripe (or equivalent) integration
Split payment system (platform fees and operator payouts)
Add-on monetization (insurance, protection products)
6. SEO and Performance Optimization
SEO-ready architecture (clean structure, metadata, schema)
High-performance frontend (optimized loading and rendering)
Lighthouse performance and SEO scores targeting 90+
Mobile-friendly and fully responsive across devices
7. Additional Features (Preferred)
Admin analytics dashboard
Referral or promotional code system
Email and push notification systems
Scalable architecture to support nationwide expansion
Ability to support future verticals (e.g., junk removal, tree services)
Technical Requirements
Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Next.js, Node.js)
Experience building marketplace or logistics platforms
API integration experience (REST or GraphQL)
Experience with real-time systems and dashboards
Familiarity with geolocation and mapping tools (Google Maps or similar)
Strong UI/UX implementation skills
Project Goal
To build a high-performance, scalable web platform that mirrors and enhances our mobile app, creating a seamless experience for:
Customers booking dumpsters
Operators fulfilling jobs
Dispatch teams managing operations
Budget
Open to proposals (fixed price or milestone-based).
We are looking for experienced professionals capable of executing at a high level.
To Apply
Please include:
Relevant portfolio (especially marketplace, logistics, or SaaS platforms)
Recommended tech stack
Estimated timeline
Any suggestions to improve the platform architecture or user experience
This is a long-term opportunity with potential for continued development and expansion as BINS APP scales nationwide.
Frontend
Next.js (React)
This should power the website and desktop portal.
Why:
fast
SEO-friendly
scalable
perfect for web dashboards and landing pages
Mobile App
If your app is already built, keep the current framework unless it’s a mess.
If starting fresh, I’d lean:
React Native
because it stays in the JS ecosystem and makes web/app alignment easier.
Backend
Best options:
Option A — Best overall
Node.js + NestJS
This is what I’d recommend for BINS APP if you want a serious backend.
Why:
structured
scalable
good for APIs
better than a messy plain Express app
Option B — Simpler
Node.js + Express
Good, but only if the dev is disciplined. Otherwise it gets sloppy fast.
Database
PostgreSQL
Not MySQL if you can avoid it.
Why:
stronger for complex platform logic
better for scaling
better for reporting, enterprise accounts, dispatch data
Real-Time Features
Socket.io or WebSockets
For:
live dispatch updates
driver assignment
order status changes
notifications
Maps / Geolocation
Google Maps API
For:
address autocomplete
routing
live map tracking
distance calculations
Authentication
JWT + refresh tokens
Single sign-on across web + app.
If you want more enterprise-grade auth later:
Auth0 or Clerk
Payments
Stripe
No question.
For:
customer payments
operator payouts
split payments
recurring/commercial billing
Admin / Analytics
For dashboards:
build in Next.js
use Chart.js or Recharts
Hosting / Infrastructure
Vercel for frontend
AWS or Railway / Render for backend depending on budget
If you want stronger long-term infrastructure:
Frontend: Vercel
Backend: AWS
Database: AWS RDS PostgreSQL
File Storage
AWS S3
For:
photos
documents
invoices
proof-of-delivery uploads
Notifications
Twilio for SMS
SendGrid or Postmark for email
SEO / Content
Because SEO is a must:
Next.js
static / server-side rendered city pages
structured schema markup
blog/news/resources section
My recommended full stack for BINS APP
Frontend: Next.js
Mobile: React Native
Backend: Node.js + NestJS
Database: PostgreSQL
Real-Time: Socket.io
Payments: Stripe
Maps: Google Maps API
Storage: AWS S3
SMS/Email: Twilio + SendGrid
Hosting: Vercel + AWS
What I would avoid
WordPress for the main platform
PHP/Laravel unless your dev team is much stronger there
Firebase as the whole backend for something this operationally complex
separate web and app backends
MySQL if you expect heavy reporting and enterprise workflows
Skills Required
PHP
JavaScript
Website Design
Graphic Design
Mobile App Development
Node.js
API Integration
Next.js
