React Typescript UI for Python backend

I need a React-based dashboard that speaks smoothly to my existing Python backend. The sole focus of this first release is user analytics, so the UI must surface user demographics, activity tracking, and engagement metrics in a clear, interactive way.

My backend already exposes the required endpoints; your task is to consume those APIs, visualise the returned data, and wrap everything in a modern, responsive interface. Think along the lines of React 18 with functional components, hooks, and a clean state-management pattern (Context, Redux, or similar—whichever keeps the codebase lean). For charts, I’m comfortable with libraries such as Recharts or Chart.js, but I’m open to another lightweight option if it fits better.

Deliverables:
• A React project ready to run with npm/yarn
• Components or pages for the three analytics sections: demographics, activity, engagement
• API integration layer that can be pointed at my dev and prod URLs
• Basic error handling and loading states so the UI never feels stuck
• Build instructions plus a short README explaining how to connect to the backend
