Printify-Shopify Sync for Product Mockups

Job ID: 40620046

Budget: $100 – $300 USD

Project Title: Bulk Sync Printify Mockup Images to Shopify Variants (450+ Products)

Category: Shopify / API Integration / Automation Script

Description:

I run a Shopify store with 450+ products fulfilled via Printify (print-on-demand). I recently redesigned and resized all products. Printify generates a mockup image for each color variant, but after the redesign those color-variant mockups did not sync over to the Shopify listings — most products now show only one image instead of a mockup per color variant.

The mockups already exist in Printify's mockup library — they're just not attached to the corresponding Shopify product/variant images.

What I need:
Every product's color variants to display the correct Printify mockup image on Shopify, so a customer selecting a specific color (e.g. "Daisy") sees the matching product photo for that color.

My understanding is this involves pulling mockup image URLs from the Printify API and pushing them to the matching Shopify products/variants via the Shopify Admin API — but open to your recommended approach if there's a better method.

Please confirm in your proposal:

Can this be done as a bulk/programmatic job across all 450+ products (not manually)?
For each product, all color variants should use the same mockup style (e.g. "Folded 2"). Can each mockup be automatically mapped to its correct variant?
Is this a one-time fix, or can you deliver something (script/tool) I can re-run myself the next time I redesign products?
Your estimated turnaround time.

Access provided: A Printify token with read-only access to mockups, and a Shopify custom app with restricted API scopes (read/write products only).

Timeline: Live storefront issue — looking to start this week.

Budget: $150–350USD, depending on whether this is a one-time script vs. a reusable tool. Please indicate which your bid covers.

IP/Ownership: The final script/tool becomes my property upon payment. Happy to discuss follow-on work separately if you're interested in building on it further.
