Populate Horse Racing Spreadsheet

I already have an Excel workbook laid out with 5,574 Australian thoroughbred races scheduled from September 2025 through March 2026. For every race there are five result columns (1st-6th) plus a scratchings column, so up to 27,870 individual cells need to be completed.

The results column W will need the range extended to 6th place

Each day as the meetings are run I need the winning placings and any official scratchings added to the relevant rows. I’ll give you the set of HTML links I normally check, but if you prefer and can source a reliable racing API you’re welcome to automate against that instead—the end result just needs to appear correctly in the spreadsheet.

Key points
• Daily updates until the entire period is covered
• Results must match Racing Australia’s official postings
• Scratchings recorded exactly as listed (horse names, not numbers)
• Workbook must retain its current structure; please don’t add or delete sheets/columns

When the file is fully populated I’ll spot-check random meetings against the official site. If everything balances, the job is done and I’ll close it off straight away.
