Overview
We need a workflow that automates the following process:
Accept a webhook payload containing menu item details (name, price, description).
Add or update those items in a specified platform (POS, online menu, or ordering platform).
Capture a screenshot of the page before saving.
Trigger an existing workflow with the screenshot link and operation status.
Key Requirements
Webhook Input & Validation: Handle multiple items at once; support two modes — prepare only (preview changes but don’t save) and prepare and save (commit changes).
Integration Layer: Use APIs where available; where not, use reliable automation to interact with admin panels.
Screenshot Capture: Always generate a screenshot before saving, store it in a secure location, and return a link.
Workflow Trigger: Pass the original payload, results, and screenshot link(s) to our existing workflow.
Reliability: Include idempotency (no duplicates if retried), retries, timeouts, and clear error handling.
Deliverables
Importable workflow file.
Any supporting snippets or nodes used.
Setup instructions with environment variables and a test plan.
Example test calls for validation.
Acceptance Criteria
End-to-end run from webhook → platform update → pre-save screenshot → trigger workflow.
Works reliably for one platform with a pattern that can extend to others.
Supports multiple items per webhook call.
Always produces a screenshot before saving.
Provides clear logs and error messages when failures occur.
