National Shipping Ecommerce Site
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need an ecommerce website focused on selling our shipping services nationwide. Instead of a traditional product catalog, visitors must be able to choose a service level, enter package details, see an instant price, and pay online. After checkout, they should be able to print a shipping label to be placed on the package, receive a confirmation email with tracking information, while my team sees the order in an easy-to-use dashboard.
Core expectations
• Modern, responsive design that works smoothly on desktop and mobile
• Secure account creation, payment gateway integration, and automated invoicing
• Real-time price calculator based on weight, dimensions, and destination within the country
• Admin panel where I can adjust rates, create discount codes, update service zones, and export order data
• Customer portal for tracking current shipments and viewing past orders
• Basic SEO, Google Analytics, and on-page schema so we start ranking from day one
• API integration with UPS/FEDEX/DHL and USPS for online labeling and pricing information
Acceptance criteria
1. All main pages and workflows are fully functional on Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox.
2. Transactions process successfully in test and live modes with the selected gateway.
3. Rate calculator returns accurate prices for at least 25 test scenarios we will provide.
4. Admin functions—editing rates, refunding an order, marking a shipment complete—work without errors.
5. Site passes Google PageSpeed “Good” on both mobile and desktop.
