Zoom SDK/API Expert Needed to Assist Laravel Team (Troubleshooting & Optimization – Not From Scratch)

Project Overview:
We have an existing web application built in Laravel. The platform conducts online exams and provides tools for examiners, exam coordinators, and students.

Zoom integration is already implemented to a large extent. We are not looking for someone to build it from scratch. We need an experienced Zoom SDK/API specialist to collaborate with our internal Laravel team to:
• Troubleshoot specific integration issues
• Improve implementation architecture
• Help us handle edge cases correctly
• Implement certain advanced controls more elegantly

This is a collaborative role — you will work alongside our developers to refine and finalize the integration.

Current Tech Stack:
• Backend: Laravel (latest stable version)
• Frontend: Web-based application
• Zoom: Meeting SDK (Web) + Zoom REST APIs + Webhooks
• Authentication & role management handled internally

What We Need Help With:
1. Reviewing current Zoom integration approach and suggesting improvements
2. Troubleshooting Meeting SDK behavior issues
3. Host / Co-host assignment logic
4. Managing overlapping sessions / edge cases
5. Breakout room behavior & role transitions
6. Webhook validation and event handling improvements
7. Ensuring secure and scalable OAuth/token handling
8. Advice on best practices for production stability

Important:
• The integration is mostly done.
• We need expert guidance and targeted implementation support.
• This is not a beginner-level integration task.

Ideal Candidate:
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Zoom Meeting SDK (Web)
• Zoom REST APIs
• Zoom OAuth apps
• Webhooks & event handling
• Experience working with Laravel backend
• Has solved real-world Zoom edge cases (host switching, recurring meetings, role management, etc.)
• Able to review architecture and suggest improvements
• Comfortable collaborating with an existing dev team (not replacing them)

Engagement Model:
• Short-term collaboration (initially)
• Could extend based on progress
• Prefer milestone-based or hourly
