Laravel Enhancemenr on Transit Modules & Integration
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I already have three working modules—Vehicle Performance Monitoring, Communication Unit Monitoring, and Automated Vehicle Location—but they need a serious lift. My top priority is upgrading the tracking and monitoring features so every data point arrives in real-time and appears instantly, and clearly, on the dashboards. Data visualisation is where I feel the current system is weakest, so polished, responsive charts and widgets are a must.
Two planned modules are still on the drawing board: Variable Messaging Displays (for remote message management and scheduling) and Vehicle Wi-Fi Monitoring. These need to be built end-to-end and then slotted into the larger platform so users experience a single, seamless system.
Deliverables
• Enhanced Vehicle Performance Monitoring, Communication Unit Monitoring, and AVL modules with accurate real-time feeds and revamped dashboards
• New Variable Messaging Display module with remote content scheduling, live status reporting, and alerting
• New Vehicle Wi-Fi Monitoring module covering uptime, usage statistics, and connectivity health
• A unified logging and alert framework spanning every module
• Full system integration test plan and executed results that prove data flows correctly across the stack
Acceptance criteria
• Dashboard latency under two seconds from data arrival to visual update
• Consistent log format and centralised alert routing for all modules
• Zero critical errors throughout a 48-hour integration stress test
