Integrate Square Payments on Lovable
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
My new site on the Lovable platform is ready to go live except for one critical element: taking payments. All sales will be for service-based offerings, and I want every customer to be able to check out smoothly through Square without leaving the site.
What I already have
– The Lovable platform instance deployed, with staging and production environments
– Square account, application ID, sandbox credentials, and design guidelines ready
What I need from you
1. A clean front-end checkout or pop-up flow that captures card details through Square’s secure SDK or Web Payments SDK
2. Back-end logic (webhooks or equivalent) to confirm transactions, store the response securely in our database, and trigger the existing order-fulfilment routine
3. Error handling and success screens that match our brand style
4. Clear hand-off instructions so my in-house developer can maintain or extend the integration later
Acceptance criteria
• A test transaction in Square’s sandbox shows as “COMPLETED” inside both the Square dashboard and our Lovable admin panel
• Switching to production keys requires only an .env change
• No PCI data touches our server—everything is tokenised by Square
• Checkout works flawlessly on modern desktop and mobile browsers
