Integrate PawaPay Gateway

I need a full-stack developer who can connect the PawaPay payment gateway to my existing website. The codebase is already live and taking traffic; what it lacks is mobile-money processing through PawaPay. I can share repository access and a test account as soon as we start.

Key tasks are:
• Wire up the backend to PawaPay’s REST API, handle authentication, callbacks, and error handling.
• Build or adapt the front-end checkout so users can complete payments without leaving the site.
• Run sandbox and live test transactions, then document the flow so I can reproduce it on staging and production.

I’ll confirm the exact tech stack with you on our first call—expect either a JavaScript or PHP environment. Likewise, the site may eventually need recurring subscriptions and refunds, so please leave room in your code structure for those extensions.

Clean, well-commented code, concise setup instructions, and evidence of successful test payments will be the acceptance criteria. If you have prior experience integrating mobile-money gateways or have worked with PawaPay before, tell me; it will speed up the decision.
