Project Overview
We are looking for an experienced software developer or automation specialist to design and develop an automated reporting solution for our IVMS (In-Vehicle Monitoring System) operations.
The objective is to replace several manual Excel-based reporting processes with a single, reliable application that automates data processing, validation, consolidation, and report generation.
The successful solution should be scalable, maintainable, and suitable for future enhancements.
Detailed Scope of Work documents and sample reports will be provided to shortlisted freelancers.
Scope of Work
The solution will automate three related reporting processes:
* Weekly KM Report
* Weekly Exception Report
* Staff Risk Management Report
The application must be capable of:
* Importing raw data from CSV and Excel files.
* Validating source data before processing.
* Cleaning and standardizing imported data.
* Removing duplicates and invalid records.
* Matching and consolidating driver information across multiple datasets.
* Applying business rules during data transformation.
* Automatically handling reporting periods, including weeks that span multiple months.
* Maintaining cumulative month-to-date reporting.
* Preserving historical reporting data.
* Producing final reports that match our existing reporting format.
* Generating management-ready Excel reports with minimal manual intervention.
The solution should be designed to support future enhancements such as additional reports, dashboards, API integrations, scheduled processing, and database integration.
