ANPR AND FASTAG INTEGRATION IN Hikvision provides built‑in ANPR support with open interfaces (ONVIF, ISAPI) that allow seamless integration into a custom Windows application, and it can trigger boom barriers, capture plate data, and interface with databases and payment systems like
1. Camera Hardware Details :- Exact Hikvision ANPR camera models with “/P” for plate recognition. Standard models won’t work.
2. Network/Software Setup:- IP addresses, ports, and credentials for the cameras/ Preferred interface: ISAPI event stream to receive XML plate data + image; or ONVIF metadata feed.
3. Boom Barrier Control :- Model/manufacturer and how it’s controlled (relay, RS‑485, TCP/IP); cameras support output triggers via ISAPI/IO port and Hikvision forum advice
4. Fastag Integration :- API documentation: endpoints, authentication, parameters, vehicle types, tariff tables from the Fastag authority or gateway vendor/ Rules for deduction (vehicle category vs. amount/ Test credentials and environment etc.
5. Database Schema;- List of database tables and fields required:-
Vehicle master (number, type, Fastag ID, etc.)
