Google Sheet Retail Data Automation
Budget: $10 – $30 CAD
I need a single Google Sheet that lets me type a Home Depot or Lowe’s model number in one column and, without any extra clicks, instantly fills the rest of the row with:
• Brand
• Product title
• Full description
• Current price on Home Depot
• Current price on Lowe’s
• Main image URL
I’d like the sheet to refresh these fields automatically once every day so I always see up-to-date pricing. I’m happy to use the HASData API (or another service if you can show a better option), and I’ll cover the subscription cost myself; I just need you to wire everything up in Apps Script or another reliable method so the calls stay within API limits and don’t break if the catalog grows.
Deliverables
• A Google Sheet template with clear input and output columns
• Embedded, well-commented Google Apps Script that handles API requests, daily triggers, and error handling
• Quick-start notes explaining where to paste my HASData keys and how to add more model numbers
Acceptance Criteria
1. Entering a valid model number returns all six data points within a few seconds.
2. Daily trigger runs automatically without manual intervention.
3. No paid add-ons required beyond the chosen API subscription.
