Full-Stack Dev for Auto Data Site Integration

Job Title: Full-Stack Developer – API Integration (Stripe + InfoAgent) for Automotive Data Site
Project Overview
I am launching NationalVINCheck.com.au on May 15 and require an expert developer to build the backend logic for a multi-tiered vehicle history report service. The system must capture user data, process payments via Stripe, fetch real-time automotive data via the InfoAgent API, and deliver a PDF report to the customer automatically.

Key Technical Deliverables
Lead Capture & Validation:

Implement a frontend VIN/Rego lookup that captures the user’s email address prior to the payment gateway.

Tiered Product Logic:

Configure three product tiers (Basic, Premium, Gold) mapped to specific InfoAgent data endpoints (PPSR, NEVDIS, Stolen/Written-off status, and Valuations).

Stripe Payment Integration:

Setup Stripe Checkout with Webhook integration.

The system must only trigger the InfoAgent API call after successful payment confirmation.

API Integration (InfoAgent):

Connect to InfoAgent REST API to pull vehicle data based on the selected tier.

Handle error states (e.g., VIN not found) and ensure the user is not charged if data is unavailable.

Automated Report Delivery:

Convert raw JSON data from InfoAgent into a professionally branded PDF report.

Integrate an email service provider (e.g., SendGrid or Mailgun) to send the report instantly upon completion.

Required Experience
Proven experience with Stripe API (Webhooks and Checkout sessions).

Expertise in RESTful APIs and JSON data handling.

Experience with PDF generation libraries (e.g., Puppeteer, PDFKit, or similar).

Familiarity with Wix Velo (if staying on Wix) or standalone backend environments (Node.js/Python).

Previous experience with automotive data or government registries (PPSR) is a major plus
