FreeScout Custom Module (Laravel) – Workflow Engine + WhatsApp Cloud API

Project Overview
We are looking for an experienced PHP / Laravel developer with FreeScout experience to develop and finalize a custom FreeScout module.
The module implements a workflow automation engine for orders and a full integration with Meta WhatsApp Cloud API.
A partial module already exists (models, services, controllers, migrations and admin UI).
The goal is to refactor, complete and stabilize the module to production-ready level.

Core Features
1. Order Workflow Engine
The module must implement a configurable workflow system:
• internal workflow_status (not FreeScout tags)
• configurable workflow statuses
• scheduled actions (cron jobs)
• timer-based automations (48h reminder, 96h follow-up, etc.)
• automated messages via:
o email
o WhatsApp
o SMS
• workflow event logging

2. WhatsApp Cloud API Integration (Official Meta API)
• inbound webhook handling
• outbound message sending
• media messages support
• message status tracking
• 24-hour WhatsApp messaging window logic
• template messages
• multi-mailbox routing
• multi-WABA support

Current Project State
A base module already exists including:
• database migrations
• models
• services
• controllers
• admin panel UI
Your job is to:
• review existing code
• identify reusable components
• refactor unstable parts
• complete missing features
• make the module production-ready

Payment Terms
Payment will be made via 100% escrow and released only after the module is fully functional in a Windows environment and meets all requirements.
