Fix PayPal Integration Issues
Budget: ₹100 – ₹400 INR
My website’s checkout flow is stumbling whenever it reaches PayPal. Payments are intermittently rejected or never reported back to my server, and customers are dropping off because of it. I need a developer who can dive into the existing PayPal integration, trace where the handshake breaks down, and implement a rock-solid fix without disrupting the rest of the stack.
Current context
• Platform in use: PayPal (REST API, Webhooks, IPN—whatever is already wired in)
• Nature of problem: pure integration glitches—no new gateway, no PCI panic, just code that isn’t talking back properly.
You’ll likely be inspecting server logs, callback URLs, and sandbox versus live configurations, then patching JavaScript/SDK or backend calls so transactions confirm every time.
Acceptance criteria
• End-to-end transaction passes consistently in both sandbox and live modes
• Payment status is posted back to my DB instantly (success, failure, cancellation)
• No new console or server errors after deployment
• A short hand-off note summarising what was fixed and where to update credentials if needed
Code is in a private Git repo; I’ll grant access the moment we start. A test product and PayPal sandbox credentials are ready, so you can replicate the failure quickly. I’m aiming for a quick turnaround—once tests are green and we’ve run a live proof purchase together, the job is done.
