Excel Flight Data API Integration
Budget: $50 – $80 SGD
I maintain a live flight schedule in Excel and want to remove every bit of manual updating. Your job is to connect that workbook to the AviationStack API or better API so that, once a flight number is entered, the sheet refreshes automatically and populates the following items:
• Gate information
• Aircraft registration
• ETA / ETD (shown in both local Singapore time and UTC)
• Current Singapore weather and temperature
Please structure the solution with clean, well-commented VBA (or Office-compatible macros) and keep all API keys in one place so I can change them easily. A refresh button and an on-open auto-update routine would be ideal; feel free to suggest anything smarter.
I’ll judge proposals primarily on similar work you’ve delivered before, so include links or screenshots that show previous Excel-to-API automations—especially where scheduling or real-time data was involved. Once the workbook pulls the correct data for a sample list of flights and the code is readable, the project is complete.
