Employment Hero–Stems API Integration

I need a solid, mid-scope integration that lets Employment Hero (our HR & payroll hub) talk seamlessly with Stems (our safety, compliance and risk-management platform). My end goal is one source of truth—no more manual double-entry or mismatched records.

Core data that must flow both ways:
• User data and profiles
• Compliance and safety records
• Payroll and financial data

Both vendors provide REST APIs and documentation, so you’ll be working with officially supported endpoints rather than reverse-engineering. I expect:

• A secure middleware service or direct API link that runs on a schedule or real-time webhook, whichever you recommend
• Field mapping and transformation so names, IDs and custom attributes line up perfectly
• Error handling with clear logs/alerts when calls fail or data is rejected
• A brief hand-off guide outlining setup, environment variables, and how to extend the mapping when we add new fields

Tech stack is flexible as long as it’s widely supported—Node, Python, or a low-code iPaaS are all acceptable if they meet the above requirements. I’ll provide sandbox credentials for both systems and will validate the solution by running a sync on a test cohort, then pushing to production once everything balances.
