Eduma Wordpress Theme - Mail & WhatsApp Verification Full Customization and Integration

I need the registration flow on my Eduma-based WordPress site to require two-step account validation: an email link and a WhatsApp code. The theme and LMS are already installed and running; your job is to hook in both verification channels, make them work together seamlessly, and leave the existing user experience intact.
Here’s what has to happen:
1. On sign-up the user enters name, email, and mobile number.
2. The system instantly sends a WhatsApp code and an email confirmation link.
3. The account activates only after both checks succeed, with clear feedback if either one fails or times out.
Feel free to leverage well-supported plugins, custom functions, or API services such as Twilio, MessageBird, Firebase, or any alternative you trust—licensing costs are fine as long as you flag them up front. Code must be clean, child-theme safe, and compatible with future Eduma and WordPress updates.
