ESSL–Zoho People Integration Setup

I need help wiring my eSSL biometric devices directly into Zoho People so every clock-in and clock-out is reflected in the Zoho attendance module the moment it happens. Attendance data is the only information that has to move across; employee profiles and leave balances stay where they are.
I already have an integration utility licensed for these devices, so the job is largely about configuring that tool (or a lightweight middleware you recommend) to talk to the Zoho People REST API, mapping device IDs to Zoho employee IDs, and making sure the push is truly real-time.
To consider the project complete, I must see a live punch appear in Zoho within seconds of a test scan, the service should auto-start if the server reboots, and error logs must be accessible so the HR team can troubleshoot without contacting you each time. A brief setup document and a one-page hand-off guide will close the loop.
