# Project Description
I am looking for an experienced Databricks consultant to create a Proof of Concept (PoC).

# PoC Objective
Build a simple PoC that demonstrates:
- Interacting with Databricks REST APIs (Jobs, Clusters, SQL Warehouses, Unity Catalog, etc.)
- Generating a functional Postman collection to test and validate these APIs
- Documenting all configuration and usage steps clearly

The main goal is to understand:
- How to authenticate and connect to Databricks REST APIs
- How to interact with Jobs, Clusters, SQL Warehouses, and Unity Catalog endpoints
- How to generate and use a Postman collection for testing and validation
- How to query Databricks SQL endpoints through Postman

> Note: The Databricks cloud system itself is not provided. The PoC must include documentation of Databricks SQL endpoints and REST API setup to ensure reproducibility.

# Scope of Work
- Configure and document Databricks REST API access (Jobs, Clusters, SQL Warehouses, Unity Catalog)
- Generate a Postman collection to interact with these APIs and SQL endpoints
- Provide step-by-step documentation of:
- Authentication and configuration
- Tools used
- API calls and Postman setup
- Best practices for interacting with Databricks APIs

# Skills Required
- Strong experience with Databricks REST APIs and SQL endpoints
- Postman collections and API testing
- Cloud-based data platforms and API integration
- Familiarity with Databricks Jobs, Clusters, SQL Warehouses, and Unity Catalog

- Focus: working demo + clear documentation
