Code Review for Telegram AI Bot
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
Job Title: Code Review Telegram AI Bot (YouTube and OpenAI)
Description:
I am seeking an experienced developer to review the codebase of a Telegram chatbot before releasing the final milestone payment to the original developer.
The bot is currently live at @will give in discussion on Telegram and performs the following tasks:
It accepts YouTube Shorts links from users
It analyzes the video using OpenAI (ChatGPT) and provides improvement suggestions such as hook, pacing, and loop strength
It logs interaction data into Google Sheets
Scope of Work:
You will review the source code to confirm that it meets basic standards for quality and functionality. This is a code review only and does not require any development, bug fixing, or rebuilding.
Deliverable: Code Review Checklist
Please provide a brief report that answers the following questions:
1. Code Quality and Structure
Is the code modular and logically organized?
Are functions separated and clearly written?
Are there signs of rushed or messy code?
2. API Integration
Is the OpenAI API correctly integrated and securely handled?
Is the YouTube API (or Shorts data parsing) implemented properly?
Are API keys or sensitive data hardcoded?
3. File Completeness
Are all necessary files and modules included?
Is a requirements.txt or package.json file present with all dependencies?
Can the code be run locally with the provided instructions?
4. Security and Handoff Readiness
Can another developer take over the project easily?
Are environment variables used appropriately for managing credentials?
What Will Be Provided:
You will receive the full codebase as a zip file or repository link
You will receive the developer’s setup instructions
You can test the bot live at @ will give in discussion on Telegram
You will also receive a summary of the expected bot functionality
Note: The bot is intended to include Amazon affiliate integration in a future phase. That feature has not been implemented yet and is not part of this review.
