Broadband Service Availability Determination System
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
ISP Address Eligibility & Serviceability Data Automation Developer
Project Overview
We are looking for an experienced developer/data engineer to build a system that can determine broadband service availability at residential addresses for multiple Internet Service Providers (ISPs).
The goal is to identify:
Whether a specific address is serviceable by a given ISP
Available internet technologies (Fiber, Cable, DSL, Fixed Wireless, etc.)
Available speed tiers (when accessible)
Whether the address appears newly serviceable compared to historical datasets
Important: We are NOT seeking customer information, account information, or any personally identifiable information (PII). This project is strictly focused on publicly available address-level serviceability and network availability data.
Scope
The ideal solution would:
Process large lists of addresses
Check serviceability across one or more ISPs
Return structured results via CSV, API, database, or dashboard
Handle rate limits and reliability concerns appropriately
Identify newly serviceable addresses where possible
Be scalable to multiple markets and states
Desired Experience
Please describe your experience with:
Web automation
Data extraction
Browser automation tools
API integrations
Geospatial datasets
FCC Broadband Fabric / Broadband Map data
ISP service qualification systems
Python, Node.js, or similar technologies
Deliverables
Recommended technical approach
Proof of concept
Working automation system
Documentation
Ongoing maintenance option (if available)
When Applying, Please Include
Similar projects you've completed
Technologies you would use
Estimated timeline
Estimated budget
Any limitations or challenges you foresee
Looking for someone who can both design the solution and assist with long-term scaling and maintenance.
