BrightScript Roku Channel Development
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I’m ready to build a suite of polished Roku channels and need a BrightScript specialist who can take full advantage of Roku SceneGraph, RAF, and the latest SDKs. The video content is already sitting on our CDN, so you’ll be focusing purely on channel architecture, UI/UX, and tight playback integration.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
• Live streams will arrive exactly as they do on our Apple-TV-oriented feeds, so experience adapting HLS style streams for Roku is essential.
• Login is required. You should be comfortable wiring Roku’s authentication dialogs to a remote API and persisting secure tokens.
• Demonstrable Roku work is critical; please share finished channels or GitHub repos so I can verify code quality and UI flow.
Deliverables I expect:
1. A fully packaged Roku channel (PKG + manifest) ready for submission.
2. Complete BrightScript and SceneGraph source code, cleanly commented.
3. Integration with our CDN endpoints and authentication API, tested on real Roku hardware.
4. A short deployment guide so my team can push updates independently.
I’ll be available for quick feedback cycles and can supply test credentials, stream URLs, and brand assets on day one. If you have questions about the CDN, token format, or certification steps, let’s clarify early so we can keep the timeline tight.
We want to see past examples of Roku channels built, btw this is not just for channel build but ongoing depends of the level of skills and quality of work
