Boutique Hotel Booking Setup & Relaunch
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
Our 5-star boutique hotel in the heart of the Elgin Valley is reopening, and I need an experienced hospitality tech specialist to finish the last digital pieces so we can start welcoming guests.
Where we stand
• Website (WordPress) and Instagram feeds are live but still in “soft-launch” mode.
• Core brand visuals and copy exist; what’s missing is the engine that lets guests click, book and rave about us.
What I need from you
1. Connect our property to Airbnb and Expedia through a reliable channel manager or direct API so rates, availability and reservations sync perfectly with our PMS.
2. Refresh website content to reflect the relaunch, then bolt on three guest-facing features:
• a secure online booking system (same inventory as the OTAs)
• a customer reviews section that auto-pulls recent five-star feedback
• a concise local-attractions guide highlighting vineyards, hiking and farm-to-table spots within the Elgin Valley
3. Tidy up any small layout quirks that appear after the new modules are added.
4. Give our Instagram launch posts a once-over so they echo the website copy and new booking links.
Why you might be the right fit
You’ve launched or relaunched hotels before, you know the quirks of Airbnb and Expedia mapping, and ideally you live in the Western Cape so the local wine routes and adventure trails aren’t just words on a page. Remote talent is welcome, but that regional insight will make the copy sing.
Acceptance criteria
• Test bookings flow end-to-end on desktop and mobile for both direct and OTA channels, with confirmation emails firing correctly.
• Calendar synchronisation shows zero overbooking risk after 72-hour monitoring.
• Reviews and attractions guide display cleanly across the latest versions of Chrome, Safari and Edge.
Timing
I’d like everything live and tested within three weeks of kickoff so we can capture peak-season traffic.
If this sounds like your kind of project, let’s chat and get our first guests through the door.
