Bidirectional Salesforce–JIRA Sync

Job ID: 40135675

Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR

I need a seamless, two-way connection between Salesforce and JIRA so that cases created or updated in Salesforce instantly appear as matching tickets in JIRA—and vice-versa. The only objective is data synchronisation; I am not looking to build custom reports or automate unrelated workflows right now.

Scope
• Map key fields for our Case object in Salesforce to the corresponding Ticket fields in JIRA, including status, priority, owner/assignee and description.
• Ensure updates flow in both directions without duplicates or data loss.
• Preserve comment history and attachments whenever either side is modified.

Technical Expectations
You can leverage native APIs, MuleSoft, Workato, Jira Connect, or a lightweight middleware of your choice, provided the solution remains maintainable and secure. OAuth and Salesforce Connected Apps are already enabled on our org, and we can grant admin access to a dedicated sandbox for initial testing.

Acceptance
I will consider the job complete when:
1. A new Salesforce Case appears in JIRA within one minute and contains accurate mapped data.
2. A JIRA Ticket update (e.g., status change to “Done”) reflects back in Salesforce automatically.
3. Sync errors, if any, are logged with clear messages we can act on.
4. The integration is packaged or documented well enough for our in-house admin to redeploy in production.

If you have successfully delivered similar bidirectional integrations, I would love to see a brief example or description of your approach in your proposal.
