We are developing a robust financial data aggregation and risk management verification system. Our goal is to securely retrieve essential account information, including balances, UPI IDs, and transaction histories from leading Indian UPI wallet providers. This system will enable comprehensive monitoring of multiple accounts and verify transaction statuses effectively.
Core Requirements
All data retrieval must be conducted using API-level HTTP requests:
For wallets providing a Web interface: Perform API analysis and implement their web API calls.
For app-exclusive wallets: Capture and replicate API calls by conducting detailed traffic analysis.
Only API-level integrations are acceptable.
Responsibilities
Implement a secure mobile number and OTP login workflow (manual OTP entry is permitted) with persistent session management to minimize repeated logins.
Analyze API call flows of targeted wallets (Web or App-based).
Extract essential data: account balance, UPI ID, and transaction history, formatted into standardized JSON.
Deliver stable and reusable API code modules suitable for future integrations with other wallets.
Technical Requirements
Proficiency in Python or Node.js with experience using HTTP libraries such as requests, httpx, or axios.
Expertise in automating OTP-based login processes and managing sessions via cookies/tokens.
Skilled with API traffic analysis tools such as mitmproxy, Burp Suite, Fiddler, or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience in reverse engineering APIs (analyzing network traffic, replicating undocumented endpoints).
Preferred experience in wallet automation or integration within the Indian fintech ecosystem.
Acceptance Criteria
Fully functional and stable source code.
Robust API request handling and login persistence (mobile number + OTP).
Output standardized data in JSON format (account balance, UPI ID, transaction history).
Concise documentation and a straightforward demonstration outlining how to execute the code and showcasing sample outputs.
