Australian Telco Website Creation (React/Node.js)
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 AUD
Project Description:
We are looking for an experienced and reliable full-stack developer to build a complete retail website for our new Australian internet and mobile company, Blynk. We have a comprehensive development plan and full API documentation ready for the right candidate. This is a fixed-price project with a budget of $4,000 AUD.
The core of this project is to build a customer-facing website that integrates deeply with our primary backend provider, the Oneview Public API, which will handle all customer and service management.
Project Overview:
You will be responsible for developing the entire website from the ground up, including:
A modern, responsive frontend based on our brand identity.
A secure backend to handle business logic and API integrations.
A fully-featured, API-driven customer sign-up process for NBN and Mobile services.
A native customer portal for self-service account management.
A headless CMS for our staff to manage plans and content.
Core Features & Requirements:
1. Technology Stack:
Frontend: React.js / Next.js
Backend: Node.js / Express.js
Database: PostgreSQL
Key APIs: Oneview (primary), Stripe (initial payments), Zoho CRM (backup), DVS (ID verification).
2. NBN & Mobile Sign-Up Flows:
NBN: API-based address search, detailed service qualification to determine connection type, and integrated appointment booking for technician visits.
Mobile: Allow customers to choose from a list of available numbers or securely port their existing number using OTP verification.
General: Integration with a DVS provider for mandatory Australian ID checks and a seamless payment process using Stripe for the initial payment.
3. Post Sign-Up Automation:
A backend workflow that, upon successful payment, automatically:
Creates the primary customer record in the Oneview API.
Creates a backup customer record in Zoho CRM.
Registers the customer's payment method in the Oneview API for recurring billing.
Provisions the NBN or Mobile service via the Oneview API.
4. Native Customer Portal (API-Driven):
Build a secure customer-only area where users can:
View and manage their account details.
View and download invoices.
Check their NBN service health, run diagnostics, and see network outages.
View mobile data usage.
Purchase recurring "bolt-on" packages for mobile services.
Manage their own service locations and account contacts.
Initiate service cancellations.
5. CMS/Admin Panel:
Set up a headless CMS (e.g., Strapi, Sanity) so our team can:
Add, edit, and manage NBN and Mobile plans.
Adjust the retail pricing and plan details displayed on the site.
Crucially, map our retail plans to the corresponding plan IDs in the Oneview API.
What We Provide:
A highly detailed, multi-page development plan outlining every feature and workflow.
Complete API documentation for the Oneview Public API.
Clear branding guidelines (fun purple theme) and UI/UX design inspiration (https://www.risebroadband.com/).
Future Work & Long-Term Partnership:
We are not just looking for a developer for a one-off project. The successful completion of this initial website will lay the foundation for our company's growth. We have a long-term vision that includes:
Integrating Advanced AI: Implementing conversational AI for customer support and plan selection, and using AI to enhance website accessibility for users with disabilities.
Expanding E-commerce: Adding functionality to sell hardware like modems and routers.
Adding New Services: Seamlessly integrating new service offerings as our business grows.
We are looking for a developer who can build a robust, scalable, and modular platform that can grow with us. The ideal candidate is someone we can build a long-term professional relationship with for future development phases.
Skills & Experience Required:
Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer with a strong portfolio.
Expertise in React.js/Next.js and Node.js/Express.js.
Proficiency with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
Crucial: Demonstrable experience integrating complex, third-party REST APIs for core application functionality.
Experience with payment gateway integration, specifically Stripe.
Familiarity with headless CMS platforms (Strapi, Sanity, or similar).
Solid understanding of web security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., WCAG for accessibility).
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently to a plan.
To Apply:
Please submit your proposal and include:
A brief summary of your experience with the required technology stack.
Specific examples of past projects where you have performed complex third-party API integrations.
Links to your portfolio or live examples of your work.
We look forward to working with a talented developer to bring this exciting project to life!
