WordPress–SHARP POS Integration
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Our restaurant runs on a SHARP cash register with the native SHARP POS software, while our online orders come through a WordPress site. I need a reliable two-way connection so both systems is synced in real-time.
What has to move from the website into the till is every new ticket’s order details, customer name / phone / delivery notes, and the final payment status. The moment the site confirms payment I want a matching receipt to appear on the SHARP screen and print automatically for the kitchen.
In the opposite direction, any edits or voids made at the register must push back to the site in real time so stock levels, order history, and reports stay accurate without manual re-keying. Automated, background syncing is essential; I’m trying to eliminate manual uploads or timed batch files.
There is no existing connector, API work, or third-party middleware in place yet. You’re free to suggest the best approach—custom API layer, WooCommerce plugin, or another method—as long as it delivers:
• Instant, fault-tolerant data flow both ways
• Compatibility with current SHARP POS software (no hardware swap)
• Clear logging and an easy way for my staff to retry failed syncs
Please outline how you’ll talk to the SHARP data interface, the tech stack you prefer, and the checkpoints you’ll use to prove orders are mirrored correctly on both sides.
