WhatsApp Invoice Automation Bot

The goal is to build a WhatsApp bot that delivers automated responses focused on invoicing. When a user sends a specific keyword or command, the bot should connect to my invoicing API, generate a new invoice, verify the user’s account / order details, and immediately send the finished document back through the same chat. After delivery, it must keep listening so the user can ask for status updates; the bot will query the API and reply with the current state of that invoice.

I will supply full API documentation, authentication keys, and message templates for greetings and confirmations. Preferred tech stacks are Node.js or Python together with the official WhatsApp Business Cloud API or Twilio’s Conversations API, but I’m open to alternatives if you have production-ready experience with them.

Deliverables
• Source code with clear README for local setup and deployment
• Secure integration with the invoicing API (generate, send, track)
• User verification step before any invoice action
• Simple log or dashboard that shows every invoice request and its status
• Brief video or written walkthrough proving the flow on a live number

Acceptance criteria: the bot must generate, send, and track at least three test invoices during a live review; responses should land in WhatsApp within five seconds of each trigger.
