Website Gamification Points System
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have 80,000 points set aside to spark engagement on my website, and I need a streamlined gamification layer that makes those points meaningful to visitors. The main goal is to let users earn, view, and spend points smoothly while I control the rules from an admin panel.
Here’s what I’m after:
• A lightweight points engine built for the web (PHP/Laravel, Node, or another well-known stack is fine—whatever you’re fastest with).
• Secure database structure that tracks every point issued or redeemed.
• Front-end widgets or API endpoints I can drop into existing pages so users instantly see their balance go up when they complete an action.
• A simple admin screen where I can: set point values, manually credit/deduct, monitor totals, and download basic reports.
• Clean, commented code plus a quick start guide so my team can extend the system later.
The 80,000-point cap must be enforced automatically so we never overspend. Points will initially be earned through on-site interactions (quizzes, small challenges, or reward-based tasks—open to your suggestions). If you have prior experience bolting gamification onto a website and can turn this around quickly, I’d love to see a short plan and timeline.
