Web-Based Smart Water System
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I’m building a web-based platform that brings together three core capabilities in one place: monitoring real-time water consumption, spotting leaks the moment they appear, and automatically steering irrigation schedules. The front end will be browser-based so that facility managers or homeowners can log in from any device, while the back end will pull data from physical sensors installed on site.
Although the exact mix of hardware is still open for discussion, the architecture must comfortably accept flow, pressure, and soil-moisture data streams—or any combination we decide on later—so please design the database and API layer with that flexibility in mind. Think in terms of modular sensor adapters and clear JSON endpoints rather than hard-coding for a single brand.
What I need from you is a detailed project proposal outlining:
• the technology stack you recommend for both the web interface and the data ingestion layer
• how you would structure the database to handle high-frequency, timestamped readings alongside alert logic for leaks
• a brief roadmap that shows milestone deliverables from proof-of-concept through to production deployment
Feel free to include examples of similar dashboards or data-driven IoT integrations you’ve tackled, but the main deciding factor will be the clarity and realism of your proposed approach.
