Web-Based Puppy Lifecycle Management System
Budget: $5,000 – $10,000 AUD
We are a licensed Australian dog breeding business looking for an experienced developer to build a web-based puppy lifecycle management system and customer portal.
Important context
• Our public website is built in Wix and remains the platform for photos, videos, and marketing
• We use SignWell to send and sign contracts and care guides
• This app does NOT replace Wix or SignWell
• The app is the system of record for puppy data, health, compliance, education, and customer access
The project is intentionally split into MVP (Phase 1) and Phase 2.
We will build MVP first and only proceed to Phase 2 once MVP is complete and accepted.

• Support pre-microchip puppies (under 5 weeks)

• Support microchipped puppies
– Status: Available / On hold / Sold / Living with family
• Microchip number required before Available or Sold
• Puppy may be Living with family while microchip transfer is pending
Applications & waitlist
• Litter-based applications
• Suitability questions
• Admin review and approval
Puppy digital passport (core feature)
• Puppy identity and microchip (when applicable)
• Parents and genetics (DNA results uploaded or linked)
• Health and care tracking:
– Vaccinations (including annual boosters)
– Worming
– Parasite treatments
– De-fleaing (monthly)
– Ear cleaning (every 2 weeks)
– Vet health checks
• Diet and feeding guides
• Insurance section:
– 4 weeks free Knose insurance (display only, no API)
Documents & contracts
• Record keeping for SignWell documents (not execution)
• Track status: Sent / Signed / Pending
• Store signed PDFs or secure links
• Documents include contracts, health guarantees, care guides
Compliance tracking (reminder-based, not enforced)
• Microchip transfer: Pending / Completed
• Council registration with annual renewal tracking
• Annual vaccination tracking
• No external registry or council integrations
Customer portal (post-sale)
• Secure login
• Read-only access
• View puppy profile
• Download documents
• View care and feeding guides
Website integration
• Link from Wix puppy pages to the app
• No duplication of photo galleries
Code & handover requirements
• Clean, well-structured, documented code
• GitHub repository owned by us
• Backend/accounts owned by us
