Trading Bot Execution Fix
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
My trading bot’s decision logic is sound, yet orders are still going astray once they hit the exchange: wrong parameters slip through, confirmations come back late, and a few trades fail altogether. I need a fresh set of eyes to track down exactly why the execution layer is misbehaving and then patch it so every buy or sell reaches the market cleanly and on time.
You’ll dive into the existing codebase, trace the flow from signal to order placement, and tighten anything that causes mis-fires—API call structure, retry logic, latency handling, or quantity formatting. When you’re done, the bot should place accurate orders, receive immediate acknowledgements, and log each step clearly so we can monitor performance in real time.
Deliverables:
• Corrected execution module (source code)
• Brief change log outlining fixes
• Proof of at least one successful live or paper trade showing proper execution
If you’re comfortable debugging exchange REST or WebSocket calls and can turn around reliable, production-ready code, I’d like to work with you.
