SuperJoe Multifunction Logistics Platform

Job ID: 40477554

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

Superjoeservices.com will eventually combine logistics, ride-hailing, hire-purchase financing (with automated payment-plan tracking), investment options and bill-payment tools under one roof. To avoid spreading the build too thin, I want to tackle the logistics module first and do it properly before we move to the other pillars.

Immediate scope
– Package delivery and vehicle transportation are the two logistics services we are launching with. The workflow has to let shippers create jobs, set pickup/drop-off details, track status in real time and release payment once proof of delivery is uploaded and confirmed.
– A driver / carrier app (or responsive web view) should mirror those functions from the fulfilment side, showing route guidance, job queue and earnings.
– Core admin dashboard must let me onboard drivers, set service zones, pricing matrices and view live trip data.

Why this matters for later phases
The same account system, wallet and notification layer you build now will later power ride services, asset-financed purchases with auto-calculated instalments, investment products and bill payments. Clean, well-documented code and an extensible database schema are therefore critical.

Tech thoughts
I am open to React Native + Node, Flutter + Firebase or another modern stack that comfortably scales and supports push notifications, location tracking, in-app payments and role-based access control. Feel free to recommend what you know best; experience delivering comparable, map-driven marketplaces carries the most weight for me.

What I need from you
Show me where you have shipped something similar—especially multi-side apps that handle real-time tracking and secure payments. A concise outline of how you would architect the logistics module and the milestones you foresee will help me gauge fit quickly.

Deliverables
1. UX mock-ups (customer, driver, admin) approved before code starts
2. MVP of the logistics module (web + mobile) deployed to a staging server
3. API and database documentation
4. Test plan and handover package that lets my team validate all endpoints, payment flows and tracking events

Acceptance criteria
• Live location updates refresh ≤5 seconds on 4G
• Proof-of-delivery image uploads persist and link correctly to each job
• Admin can modify price tables without code changes
• Wallet balance reflects every transaction instantly

Additional Requirement: The main admin dashboard should display total profit made for the month. It should automatically divide the profit by two and calculate tax on one half at a starting rate of 7%. The tax percentage must be adjustable for future updates.

Once logistics is live and stable we will roll straight into rides, hire-purchase and the remaining features, so think of this as phase one of a long partnership.
