Supabase Sports Contest Builder

Job ID: 40246133

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I already run a Supabase-powered sports analytics platform that pulls live odds through OddsAPI and hosts a functioning Pick Streak Survivor contest. Your job is to extend this existing codebase by adding two new game formats—Perfect Week Challenge and the Monthly Wins Race—and surface their standings in a clean, mobile-friendly interface.

Backend scope
• Expand or adjust the current Supabase schema to store contest entries, weekly picks, monthly tallies, and historical records without disrupting the Pick Streak tables.
• Automate grading: ingest OddsAPI results, decide wins/losses, and trigger point / streak calculations immediately after games close.
• Compute rankings and tiebreakers for both contests, then write them back to dedicated leaderboard views.
• Schedule these tasks with cron or Supabase edge functions so updates run hands-off (e.g., nightly for the Monthly Wins Race, end-of-week for Perfect Week).

Frontend scope
• Create responsive leaderboard pages that load quickly on mobile.
• Show each player’s position, current streak or win count, and relevant stats (W/L, points, completion rate).
• Use the existing design system for consistency but keep the layout minimalist and readable.

To be considered
Send links to real Supabase contest or leaderboard projects you’ve built, screenshots or a repo section that demonstrates your ranking / grading logic, and a short note on how you handled scheduled jobs in those projects. Applications without these concrete examples won’t receive a reply.

Deliverables
1. Updated Supabase migrations / SQL.
2. Edge-function or cron scripts for automated grading.
3. API or RPC calls exposed to the frontend.
4. Two live, mobile-friendly leaderboard pages integrated into my current Next.js site.
5. Brief setup and hand-off documentation.

Fixed-price proposals only please—this is a bootstrapped startup and I can’t renegotiate later. If you’re confident you can plug into our stack quickly and ship production-ready code, let’s talk.
