Supabase API Support for Platform with Nextjs

I am half-way through building a job-matching platform: the UI is in Next.js with Tailwind CSS, while the backend lives in Supabase. Although most of the schema and auth are in place, I now need an experienced Supabase hand to review what exists, strengthen the API layer, and work with me over the coming months whenever gaps appear.

The immediate priority is API development and integration. Concretely, I want smooth data-fetching and manipulation from the front-end, robust data-validation rules that fire both client- and server-side, and reliable real-time updates so users see jobs, applications, and messages appear instantly. We will pair on code reviews, plan small iterations, and tackle any emerging performance or security concerns together.

You should be comfortable jumping into an existing Supabase project, refining Postgres functions, policies, and RLS, and then wiring those endpoints cleanly into a Next.js app that uses the latest React hooks and the Supabase JS client. Clear, commented commits and frequent check-ins are important to me because I will still be writing the bulk of the interface.

Deliverables for each milestone will be:
• Reviewed and refactored Supabase API code pushed to GitHub
• Documented validation logic and any new Postgres functions or policies
• A brief change log showing how the real-time subscriptions were improved
