Remote Email Monitoring Tool
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I need a Windows-based solution that lets me watch, in real time, how the twenty company email accounts on our internal domain are being used. The core requirement is straightforward: the moment a user sends or receives mail, that activity should show up instantly on an admin dashboard so I can verify volume, recipient domains, and basic metadata without opening or altering the messages themselves.
Here is how I picture the workflow:
• A lightweight client or background service sits on each employee machine (all Windows).
• It forwards essential email-usage events—send, receive, subject line, size, timestamp—over an encrypted channel to a central console.
• The console aggregates those events into live, filterable streams and stores them in a secure log for audit purposes.
If a browser-based dashboard makes implementation faster, that is fine; if a standalone desktop console is easier, I am open to that too. What matters is speed, a clear graphical view, and the ability to drill down to an individual mailbox when needed.
Please deliver:
1. Installer or deployment script for the endpoint component.
2. Admin console with real-time feed, simple search, and export to CSV.
3. Source code, build instructions, and a brief setup guide so my IT lead can maintain it.
I do not need file-download tracking, login-attempt reports, or other system telemetry—only email usage. Security is critical, so protect credentials (OAuth2 or secure token exchange is preferred over plain SMTP/IMAP passwords).
Let me know the development stack you suggest and any third-party libraries you plan to use. I am ready to move quickly once we settle on the approach.
