Real-Time NetSuite API Automation

I need a concise integration that connects directly to the NetSuite API and automates two core workflows: order management and financial transactions. The goal is to trigger each step the instant data hits NetSuite, so real-time updates are mandatory—no batch jobs, no lag.
My environment is already licensed and provisioned; what’s missing is the custom code (REST or SOAP, whichever you prove is more stable) that listens for events, processes them, and pushes the appropriate responses back to NetSuite or any downstream system we decide to include. Webhooks, SuiteScript, or external middleware are all on the table as long as the final solution is reliable and easy for my in-house team to maintain.
Deliverables
• Clean, well-documented source code that handles real-time order creation/updates and the corresponding financial entries
• Any SuiteScript deployment files or integration middleware configuration required
• A short hand-off guide covering authentication setup, key endpoints, and how to extend the integration for future processes
Acceptance criteria
• New orders entered in NetSuite reflect in the target system (and vice-versa) in under one minute
• Financial records stay perfectly in sync with each order status change, also within one minute
• No unhandled errors in a 24-hour test window under typical load
