React B2B E-commerce Rebuild

Job ID: 39967488

Budget: €2,500 – €5,000 EUR

I’m relaunching Outilbox.fr, a French B2B e-commerce site focused on machines and workshop equipment, and I want it rebuilt from the ground up with React on the front-end and Node.js on the back-end. The driving goal is a markedly better user experience, and the biggest piece of that puzzle is a friction-free, seamless checkout that lets professional buyers either complete the purchase immediately or request a personalised quote in one click.

Here is what defines success for me:

• Shoppers must be able to switch effortlessly between “order online” and “request a quote” at any point in the cart.
• Submitted quotes land in an administrator dashboard where they can be edited, priced, and converted to an order without re-keying data.
• Once accepted, the quote should turn into an order and follow the same fulfilment, invoicing, and shipping workflow as a normal purchase.
• The new stack (React, Node.js, a database of your choice) has to deliver sub-two-second page loads across the catalogue and remain scalable as the product range grows.
• Integration with our existing business systems—inventory, pricing tiers, and accounting—is essential; a clear API layer is therefore expected.
• Code must be production ready, well documented, and deployed via a CI/CD pipeline so future iterations are straightforward.

Nice-to-haves, provided they don’t compromise the main goal, include flexible payment terms, stored multi-address shipping, and quick re-ordering of past purchases.

If you have proven experience building high-performance B2B storefronts with React and Node, especially those that juggle both instant transactions and quotation flows, I’d like to hear your approach, timeline, and previous work.
