React Single-Page Application for Kite Trading
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m looking for a React-based single-page application that communicates directly with the Kite trading platform APIs. The goal is to give user an intuitive, browser-based workspace that merges live market data, order management, and portfolio insights in real time.
Core requirements
• Real-time data display – subscribe to Kite WebSocket streams and render quotes, depth, and price movement with smooth UI updates.
• Order execution – create, modify, and cancel orders from the interface, reflecting status changes instantly.
• Portfolio tracking – show current holdings, P/L, and day-wise performance, refreshing automatically.
Technical notes
– React is mandatory; feel free to leverage hooks, Context, or Redux for state management.
– Use Kite’s REST and WebSocket endpoints with secure API key handling.
– Responsive layout: desktop first, but functional on tablets and mobiles.
– Clean component structure and reusable UI elements, preferably with TypeScript and modern styling (CSS-in-JS, Tailwind, or plain CSS modules, whichever you’re comfortable with).
– Proficiency in managing and optimizing databases, including SQL and NoSQL options
– Understanding of AWS services is preferred.
– Expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Deliverables
1. Full source code in a Git repo.
2. README with setup instructions, environment variable layout, and build commands.
3. Short demo video or live link proving real-time data feed, order placement, and portfolio display all working together.
4. Handoff session and documentation to walk through architecture and next steps.
I value clear communication and iterative progress updates, so please outline your approach and estimated timeline when you respond.
