React Ecommerce Payment Integration

I have an ecommerce site whose front-end is entirely React, and the immediate priority is to wire up a robust, secure payment flow. Your first assignment will be to integrate one or more mainstream gateways (Stripe is the front-runner, yet I’m open to PayPal or other providers if you can demonstrate clear advantages).

Beyond the checkout, the roadmap includes building new customer-facing features, enhancing performance, and weaving in several third-party services through RESTful APIs. A solid grasp of SQL-backed data models and experience designing or consuming scalable APIs will make your day-to-day easier here.

Deliverables for the initial milestone
• Fully functional payment gateway integration tested end-to-end in staging
• Clear, well-documented React components/services that future features can reuse
• Concise deployment notes so I can replicate the setup in production
